​Poetry Group
For anyone who enjoys poetry. We are a small relaxed group who meet monthly to read and discuss poems, but also find time to drink tea and chat generally.
Each month we have a topic, for example "birds", and everyone in turn reads a poem they like based on the topic, then everyone else joins in with their comments. There is usually time for about five poems each.
We are not experts, and there is no expectation to write poetry or to have any in depth knowledge of it. Only the pleasure within. If anyone wants to just listen and not read that is fine.
