Snail’s Pace Walking Group
We enjoy the opportunity to complete short walks – of about 3 miles long – with companionable U3A members at locations within a radius of approximately 15 miles of Lutterworth. Sometimes these walks can have a special interest – historical, environmental, natural – and the leader will provide a commentary. Sometimes, we just walk! We have even had Blue Badge Guides lead us in more urban settings when trekking in the countryside is not the best bet in the winter months!
Our walks are usually rounded off with a good pub lunch. It’s a good way to meet others and also get to learn about the local villages, beauty spots and public footpaths.
