Are you interested in understanding more about religion and world faiths?
If so, you might like to join a new group I’m proposing entitled ‘Exploring World Faiths’.
The aim of the group would be to gain a greater understanding of various world religions, their origins and major beliefs.
I envisage that the group will decide a programme and agree which faiths we might explore. It might also include visits to places of worship, significant historical sites or other community centres.
Obviously it is open to members of all faiths and of none! I should stress it’s not about worship but about gaining greater awareness in relaxed and open minded atmosphere.
I’m planning for the group to meet on the 1st Thursday of the month 10-12 noon.
